About Fernwrite
Fernwrite is a small publication for long-form writing. This page explains what goes on it and how to reach whoever is behind it.

What this site publishes
Articles worth the time it takes to read them. Most run well past a thousand words, because the subjects here reward being explained properly rather than summarised. There is no daily quota and nothing is published to fill a slot.
Subjects tend towards technology, design, science and the places they overlap.
How it works
- Invite only. Author accounts are created by hand. There is no public sign-up, so nothing here arrived unreviewed.
- No tracking of our own. You do not need an account to read, and we set nothing to follow you. Adverts here are served by Google, which does use cookies; that is spelled out in the privacy notice.
- Articles belong to their authors. The terms spell out what that means for quoting and republishing.
Contact
Corrections, questions, and requests to write for the site all go to the same place:
If you are writing about something factually wrong in an article, quote the sentence and we will correct it or say why we think it stands.
